Kurt d’Haeseleer is a Belgian visual artist, author of videos and interactive video installations. He designs videos for theatre, dance and opera and creates his own audiovisual performances. In his works, he focuses on visualising the dynamics of information, translating it into meta-images and pixelated special effects that border on painting, music videos, cinema and performance.
His partners in artistic work include Guy Cassiers, Music Lod, Georges Aperghis, Transparent, Isabella Soupart, Jon Hassell, Franck Vigroux, Ictus, Ief Spincemaille, Peter Verhelst, Köhn. He is the art director of Werktank, a platform for new and old media art, producing and distributing installation art that explores the relationship between technology and perception.
